CCTV cameras will be installed as a matter of urgency at a popular walking route between Mitchelstown and Kilworth in an attempt to deter fly-tipping.

Dumping at the back road from Mitchelstown to Kilworth on land owned by the Defence Forces at Kilworth Army Barracks is raising the hackles of regular users.

They say the latest bout of fly-tipping is ‘a disgrace’ and ‘a major eyesore’.
