The Transition Year students from CBS Secondary school Mitchelstown with Declan Masterson and Mr Tom O’Flynn being presented with a cheque for €1,035 by Willie O’Brien of Jackie O’Briens, where the Transition Years recently held a fundraising quiz.

The recent quiz held by the Mitchelstown CBS Secondary School Transition Year students raised €1,035.

The quiz was held in Jackie O'Briens on Friday last, with Tom O'Flynn as quiz master. There was a great turn out with parents and pupils from the Transition Year class.

The O'Brien's sponsored refreshments on the night and also kindly donated €150 on the night. The students would like to thank everyone who supported the quiz and also Mary, Aidan and Willie O'Brien and Declan Masterson for facilitating and hosting the quiz.
