‘Slieve na mBan’, the car in which General Michael Collins was fatally wounded at Béal na mBláth in 1922, arrived at Collins Barracks, Military Hill, Cork ahead of the Cork Independence Day Open Day on Wednesday. A 50 strong guard of honour with troops drawn from units of Collins Barracks, rendered honours on the occasion of the celebration of General Michael Collins’ birthday.
