A number of queries regarding Cappoquin developments were raised at this week's meeting of the Dungarvan Lismore Municipal District meeting.
Councillor John Pratt raised the matter of the footpath works across from the boathouse, asking when these works may begin.
Speaking with The Avondhu, Cllr Pratt said this footpath is a matter that he has been ‘pushing’ for some time. “It’s actually quite dangerous, it’s a health and safety issue really,” he said.
Senior Engineer with Waterford City and County Council, Gabriel Hynes, said that ‘no immediate works’ are planned for the footpath yet.
