All those with a passion for fast and flashy cars will have to wait another at least another year to see them on our local roads, as this year’s Cannonball Ireland run is scheduled to stop further up the country.
As an event synonymous with driving, and with tens of thousands of people still expected to spectate over the weekend of September 6th-8th, Circle K is bringing back ‘When You Fill, Support Jack and Jill’ to raise crucial funds for the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation and fuel motorists on the go across the weekend. The ‘When You Fill, Support Jack and Jill’ initiative will run in participating Circle K and Circle K Express sites nationwide.
Cannonball is the largest organised road trip in Europe and features the finest cars in the world, including cars by brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, Aston Martin, and Maserati. Spectators can see these supercars on the move as they visit six counties across the country on this year’s road trip.
The official route for Cannonball Ireland 2024, will see the supercars stop off in Meath on Friday, Sept 6th, Wicklow (7th), Wexford (6th), Kilkenny (6th), Galway (7th and 8th) and Leitrim (8th) and at Circle K sites in Gorey and Kilcullen, where the cars will be stopping for important refills. All the action can be followed on the Cannonball live tracker as the road trip travels across Ireland during the three days of the event.
Circle K is delighted to announce the return of its ‘When you Fill, Support Jack and Jill’ fundraising initiative for a second year. To celebrate its sponsorship of Cannonball Ireland 2024, 1c from every litre of miles and milesPlus fuel sold will go directly to the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation, during the weekend of September 6th-8th when the Cannonball Ireland event will take place.
Donations to the charity supports hundreds of children who are living with highly complex and life-limiting medical conditions nationwide while empowering parents to care for their child at home. In 2023, donations to the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation helped the charity to directly supports its highest number of families ever in one year, 534 in total.
