Calls are being made to have Clondulane included on the Local Link bus route that travels between Tallow and Fermoy.
With the Fermoy to Mallow bus – connecting Fermoy, Ballyhooly and Killavullen to Mallow – recently reinstated, a motion was tabled at this week’s Northern Committee meeting by Councillor Frank O’Flynn seeking to have Clondulane included in Local Link services.
According to the councillor, a number of locals have queried as to why the village does not have a Local Link service, despite the growing community.
“Fermoy is the nearest town, it’s not that far to get there and it should be easy enough to include Clondulane on the Local Link service from Tallow to Fermoy. I would ask that we would write to Local Link and ask them to put in place the service …” Cllr O’Flynn said.
