The national Cloud Success Roadshow is coming to Cork’s Silver Springs Moran hotel on Thursday, July 18. Run by Let’s Operate, the Irish hosted desktop provider in association with AIB and Magnet Networks, the seminar aims to advise Cork businesses on everything they need to know about cloud computing. It is free to attend but registration is required at http://cloudsuccessroadshow.com/

A recent Irish Computer survey revealed that 85% of IT dealers say customers have enquired about cloud computing in the last 12 months, and 87% expect increased interest over the next 12 months. But David Owens, managing director of Let’s Operate, warned that many Irish business people still haven’t figured out how to make the cloud work for them.

He commented, “Cloud computing has been around for a long time and Irish businesses are now seriously investigating implementation and asking IT companies about it, but they need to know the right questions to ask."

The Cloud Success Roadshow tackles the top cloud computing issues including the cost of cloud versus traditional IT, cloud security and the top 10 questions you should ask your cloud provider.

David commented, “Any Cork business that has five or more staff using IT should attend this seminar. Small and medium businesses will particularly benefit because other cloud seminars are typically aimed at large organisations. But we specialise in businesses from 5-100 users. Everyone who attends will leave with a Cloud Success Action Plan for their business.”

The seminar runs in the Silver Springs Moran Hotel on the afternoon of Thursday, July 18 and is free to attend. But delegates need to register at http://cloudsuccessroadshow.com/
