Last Friday’s ‘Strictly Castlelyons’ was accompanied by a huge amount of hype, which is fine, but it does create a certain amount of pressure on organisers to deliver.
Without doubt, competitors, who have put in a Trojan effort over the last number of weeks, also felt the heat as the spotlight and the gaze of hundreds fell exclusively on them.
One couple went home happier than most – the ‘Strictly Castlelyons’ dream team of Noel McAuliffe and Tara O’Sullivan.
According to Noel, he got a taste for dancing having travelled to an Araglin Carnival disco without permission from his parents.
