JUNIOR HURERS

On Friday evening last, 26 July at Knocklong, Blackrock were due to play neighbours Glenroe in the South junior B hurling championship round two game. Unfortunately the game did not materialise as Glenroe were unable to field a team.

As a result Blackrock are through to the semi-final stage of the championship, their next outing will be when they play Camogue Rovers – the result of that game will decide the semi-final pairings.

INTERMEDIATE HURLERS IN CHAMPIONSHIP ACTION THIS FRIDAY

The county intermediate hurling championship round three game versus Pallasgreen will be played in Hospital on this Friday, 2 August at 7.15pm. A win for Blackrock would see them top the group and gain a quarter-final place after victories over Knockaderry and Monaleen in the earlier rounds.

Your support will be appreciated to cheer on the team to the quarter-finals.
