New Bishop of the Diocese of Cloyne, the Very Rev. William Crean, is to be given a civic reception in Fermoy on Tuesday evening, April 23rd, the town council’s highest honour.
Bishop Crean was ordained at St Colman’s Cathedral, Cobh on Sunday, January 27th. As Bishop of Cloyne, he is also parish priest of Fermoy. Mayor Michael Hanley says he hopes to have the Fermoy concert band perform at the special event.
