Instead of fighting on the undercard of the Last Man Standing boxing event on Saturday, March 3, Mitchelstown’s Vladimir Belujsky will now be taking part in the main event, live on TG4.
The ‘Last Man Standing' professional boxing tournament will take place at the National Stadium in Dublin with eight fighters competing for the €25,000 top prize.
Speaking to The Avondhu this week, Vladimir said this was a once in a lifetime opportunity which he grabbed with both hands.
“It’s a big risk but bigger reward opportunity and that’s what life is about,” he said.
