Bartlemy rider set for final leg of Corinthian Challenge

Bartlemy's Michelle O'Brien is now facing into the final race of the Corinthian Challenge, taking place on October 22.

Local rider, Michelle O’Brien is amongst those to take part in the Corinthian Challenge, a 3-part charity race series which gives an opportunity to those who love riding out horses to participate in races, whilst raising funds for the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund (IIJF).

The Challenge, which hosts races at the Curragh, Gowran Park and Leopardstown, is the biggest fundraiser for the IIJF and provides key support and care to all licensed jockeys, from point-to-point to professionals, when in need.

Returning this year after the Covid-19 pandemic, the Bartlemy woman is among the 14 participating riders.
