Fr Joe Flynn has ministered in Ballyporeen since 1995. Prior to that, the Knockanore native was asigned to Dunhill and Portlaw – he also spent time in the parish of Larkhall Lane in London.

2017 marks Fr Joe's Golden Jubilee (50 years) in the priesthood and to celebrate the occasion parishioners of Ballyporeen and Skeheenarinky, hosted a special Mass followed by a function in Ballyporeen Hall on Friday night last.

Fr Joe, is at heart a man of deep faith who has been there for the people of Ballyporeen and Skeheenarinky in the good and not so good times.
