Last week, on Thursday, May 1, Transition Year and Fifth Year Leaving Cert vocational programme classes from Presentation Secondary School, Mitchelstown got a sneak peek into what life is like in Ballymaloe Cookery School and Garden.

The students had to visit an enterprise, which was relevant to the subjects they study at school. On the day, they had a wonderful experience learning about food, organic farming and agri-tourism, while they explored the cookery school and gardens.

The school wish to thank Ms Lally, the TY coordinator and Ms Lynch the LCVP coordinator for organising the educational and enjoyable trip.
