Ballygiblin NS, were among six schools from across the country who collected prizes at the Mission Possible Awards this week, held in St Patrick’s University Hospital.
The awards commend student’s achievements in raising awareness of mental health and combatting stigma in their classrooms and wider communities.
The competition marks a flagship initiative of Walk in My Shoes, St Patrick’s Mental Health Services’ awareness-raising and education campaign, geared towards youth mental health.
Ballygiblin NS principal, Mary Collins said it was a real honour to be placed in the national awards promoting mental health and said it’s an ongoing ethos in the school.
