A youthful and enthusiast cast, a great set, a favourite storyline and no end of laughs - yes, things are looking up for the Barrymore Players who are slap, bang in the middle of preparations for their Christmas panto, 'Babes In The Wood'.
Robin Hood, Maid Marian, The Sheriff of Nottingham are all good to go for a show that starts its run on Friday 13th December in Castlelyons Community Centre at 8pm.
Aileen McMurtry was the brave woman who stepped up to the plate when it came to directing and choreographing and this talented stage performer is doing a superb job marshaling the masses. Isabel Fenton is her assistant with Ciara Howard looking after the musical end of things.
'Babes' is all about entertainment and is an occasion the entire family will enjoy. The public have 3 bites of this theatrical cherry - December 13th and 14th (both 8pm starts) and the matinee performance on Sunday December 15th at 3pm. It's a spectacular offering that must be seen - don't miss out.
