Our annual general meeting was held on Tuesday, 13th August in CYM&WS Hall, Fermoy. At the meeting all our sponsors for the 2012/13 season were sincerely thanked - this assistance was greatly appreciated. We received great help from members and the general public during the last 12 months.

TOP TABLE

At the AGM Noel McCarthy was proposed to stay on as president - a post he graciously accepted for another term. A new name to the top table this year is Jer Curry who was elected the new chairperson, a role which he takes over from myself Timmy Flynn. My role this year is secretary. Tadhg O'Donovan remains on as PRO. Joint treasurers remain the same as last year, namely, Anita Frawley and Margaret Flynn. Fitness instructors are: Willie Frawley and Pio Duggan. First Aid officer is Jer Curry. Child protection officer remains Timmy Flynn.

New to the board of officers this year are: Jim Connolly and Catherine Curry - these two individuals are also the new membership officers. Club coaches for the year are: Dave Bratchford, Timmy Flynn and Pio Duggan.

Once again we would like to thanks Mike and Caitriona Moorehouse of Mike's Tyre Centre, Fermoy for coming on board this year as our main sponsor.

TRAINING

As the 2013/14 season is about to commence, training will resume on Monday 2nd September in the CYM&WS Hall. Juveniles will start at 5pm; juniors, intermediates and seniors will start at 7pm - new members are always welcome, remember boxing is a great way to stay fit.

The club wishes to acknowledge the ongoing support of The Avondhu newspaper for the great coverage they give us.

Finally, a word of congratulations to one of our own, Sarah Connolly for making the Irish international U7 soccer team - a fantastic achievement for a wonderful all round athlete.

Anyone requiring additional information on any aspect of our club is welcome to contact the following coaches: Dave Bratchford (086) 3433594, Timmy Flynn (087) 9595898 or Pio Duggan (087) 7924623.
