Animal Crackers

Over the last few months, Irish children’s authors Sarah Webb and Alan Nolan have been busy helping to keep children around Ireland entertained during lockdown.

From Sarah’s popular online writing classes, her ‘Creative Bursts’ with MOLI, and her appearances on RTE Home School Hub, to Alan and his lively online art tutorials for kids of all ages, his regular ‘Draw with Alan’ segments on RTE.ie showing us all how to draw a dog, a whale, a seal, and much more!

Now young readers can join Sarah and Alan on a fun and fascinating animal adventure. Come on, everybody – it’s time to go ‘Animal Crackers’!

Which animals are the biggest? Which are the smallest? Which are the most dangerous? Why do dogs love people so much?

Find out about animals around the world, from the hottest to the coldest ice, from the deepest oceans to the skies above, as well as all about the Irish wildlife you can find in your own gardens, parks and beaches.

Discover everything there is to know about our favourite furry, feathered (and scaly!) friends in this fun book bursting with facts, puzzles, cartoons and more!

Come along with Alan and Sarah (and their friend Happy the Frog!) and check out Animal Crackers, from O’Brien Press in all good bookstores.
