An Bord Pleanala have decided to uphold the decision of Cork County Council and have refused permission for the proposed change of use of the existing ground floor retail unit to an amusement arcade at Corrin Court, Cork Road/Duntahane Road Junction in Fermoy.
The original planning application was made to Cork County Council by Fun Junction (Fermoy) Ltd on September 9 2017.
Permission was refused by Cork County Council back on Nov 21 in 2017. Fun Junction appealed the decision of Cork County Council to An Bord Pleanala.
The long awaited decision by An Bord Pleanala was only announced on Wednesday morning of this week to the relief of many living in Fermoy town and outskirts.
