This year’s ‘apple pressing’ service in Kilworth was expanded to include other attractions – all aimed at raising much needed funds for the ongoing restoration of the Village Arts Centre.
‘Apple presser’ and part of the organising committee, Cian O’Meara, was once again to the fore at last Saturday’s ‘harvest festival’ event, which was very well supported.
A number of food and craft stalls added to the atmosphere, with activities centred around the Village Green and nearby playground.
