Last Saturday night saw Kilworth GAA Club honour the heroes of 1967, the first team to bring a junior county hurling title back to the club, 50 years ago this year.
They are a team that will forever remain in the history books for their incredible achievement.
The team made a fantastic entrance, led by a piper from the Thomas Kent Pipe Band and 1967 team captain John Hogan who proudly held the same cup which Kilworth won 50 years ago.
This year’s champions St Catherines, provided the cup for the night.
