Businesses in Fermoy have been accused of ‘calling the kettle black’ over recent criticism of a photoshopped image deriding the town which appeared on Facebook, with one local resident describing a particular signpost entering Fermoy as anything but complimentary for the town.

Local photographer John O’Connell, who runs the popular Fermoy Facebook page, highlighted a poorly-looking sign managed by the Fermoy Business Action Group on the N72 approach road ...
