A number of locals have reported to The Avondhu that two men were arrested in Mitchelstown, when two unmarked Garda cars pulled them over on the approach road from the town to the Limerick/Dublin roundabout.
The local people believe that these were members of the armed Gardai and it is believed that the local Gardai seized the car after the men were handcuffed and arrested. The reports were not confirmed by local Gardai.
