Mitchelstown Community Council recently held elections for the Abbey Farm and Carrigroe areas, for which William Lambe of Abbey Farm was elected for both.
The community council would like to thank TUS workers, Tom Palmer and Karl Burke, for all of their great work over the past year, in keeping the town, side streets and other areas in admirable condition.
AGM TIME
Meanwhile, plans are currently being drawn up for the use of Forest Hall by the community council and they will also hold their AGM on April 30 at 8pm in the Town Hall – all are welcome.
There will also be a quiz on May 3 at 8pm in The Hunter’s Rest, with tables of four for €40. There will be great spot prizes on offer and all support would be greatly appreciated.
