The Irish Drift Championship returns to the Cork Marts, Fermoy this weekend for Round 4 of the 2013 series.

It’s your chance to see some of Europe’s best drifters in action. Many local drivers are also taking part, so the event provides a chance to watch them perform and progress. Among them will be local Irish and European champion James Deane and 13-year-old sensation Jack Shanahan from Killavullen, who is making waves throughout Europe as one of our next rising stars.

Organisers say that the Corrin Event Centre is being transformed into one of the toughest custom-built courses on the 2013 IDC calendar, and is sure to push drivers skills and cars to the limits.

Weekend tickets can be purchased at the gate on Saturday. The main event kicks off at 1pm Sunday. Kids under 12 go free when accompanied by an adult. Free parking will be available. For more information find them on Facebook or visit irishdriftchampionship.com
