Funding of €220,000 has been allocated to the Fermoy District under the Active Travel Towns and Villages, for the design and implementation of active travel schemes in towns and villages in the district.
This announcement comes as the National Transport Authority (NTA) this week published their 2026 allocations.
Sums of €220,000 for the same purpose were also allocated to the Cobh Municipal District and Cork East District.
