Galway Races delight for local connections of Man About Dog syndicate

Scenes of delight from the Galway races last week, as locals involved in the Man About Dog syndicate secured a big win with Bal Kauto in the Tote Handicap Hurdle.

Watergrasshill man, Johnny O’Mahony, who is a member of the syndicate alongside Harry Gettings and others, said that they were ‘delighted’ with the win and knew that the horse would do well.

“He’s a good horse. It was an ask alright, but he got a great ride and won well on the day. It was brilliant, something unreal,” Mr O’Mahon  told The Avondhu.
