Some of those who took part in Herlihy Centra Fermoy’s ‘Pink Walk’ in aid of Action Breast Cancer last year. The walk is taking place again this Saturday.

It's time to get on the walking shoes and get in the pink! Herlihy's Centra, Fermoy are running their Pink Walk for Action Breast Cancer again this Saturday, November 2nd.

It'll commence from the store at 2pm. Walkers can register at 1.30pm in the car park. The walk, up around Duntaheen Road, is suitable for all ages and all are welcome to take part. Like last year, it will finish at The Wagon Tavern where refreshments will be served. Last year's event was a huge success, raising over €2,000 for Action Breast Cancer and they're hoping for similar success this year.

Meanwhile, a coffee morning will be held instore this Friday, November 1st from 9am until 12noon. Again all are welcome and all monies raised from the refreshments and freshly baked treats on offer will go towards the cancer charity. People can also, if they wish, register for the walk while there.
