Radley’s apprentices showcase at World Skills Ireland

Rory Gallagher and Aidan McKenna, Radley Engineering 2024 Apprentice of Year nominees from county Waterford, both recently presented on the Heroes Stage as part of the Apprentice of the Year Show Case for day 2 of World Skills Ireland 2024, staged at the RDS Dublin.

Speaking at this prestigious event, they did themselves, Radley Engineering and their families proud.

The team at Radley Engineering, who are headquartered at Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, were also delighted to meet with Dr Mary-Liz Trant, Director National Apprenticeship Office, at the event. Radley Engineering have three apprentices, including Rory and Aidan, nominated for the upcoming national Apprentice of the Year awards, which is due to take place on October 23rd at the Mansion House, Dublin.

The company have also just announced nine new apprentices, including their first female apprentice, the only female pipe fitting apprentice in the southeast region and one of only three in the country.
