Glenville’s Ger Murphy has given 50 years unbroken service to the Legion of Mary. The former Hickey’s of Fermoy sales assistant is one of 7 members in the Glenville branch.
Ger was the special guest at last Friday night’s ceremony in Glenville’s Holy Family Parish Centre, held to mark this significant achievement. He was joined by his sister, Ina Collins and brother, Matt.
Mass was celebrated by Fr. Martin Keohane from Carraig na bhFear, who praised Ger for his commitment and dedication.
