An emerging preferred route is to be publicly announced in relation to the Mallow to Dungarvan greenway in March of this year, followed by public consultation in April, according to council officials.
The topic of the proposed Mallow to Dungarvan Greenway was raised once again at Monday’s meeting of the Dungarvan Lismore MD, as Cllr Declan Doocey said that elected members have been waiting on information in relation to the same ‘with months now’.
“It’s very frustrating all of this, every day the stories we’re hearing back are more concerning,” Cllr Doocey said.
