“I know there are children that live on this road, and I’ve grandchildren, if they were to step out onto the road without thinking. I think something would have to happen like that first before the council are going to do anything, and it shouldn’t be like that,” said Pamela Cunningham, a resident of West Street in Tallow.
Calls are being extended again for traffic calming measures to be put in place and increased in the area after an incident recently where serious damage was caused to a resident’s car.
According to locals, this is one of several incidents which have occurred on the road as a result of high speeds in the area.
