We may not be back to pre-Covid crowds just yet, but we seem to be getting there. On Friday evening last, an invitation was extended to the public to be part of a concert by Slovakian brothers, Vladimir and Anton Jablokov in St. Mary’s Church, Doneraile. The good news for organisers is that the historic Church of Ireland venue was packed to capacity for an occasion that was thoroughly enjoyed by patrons.
Commenting following the show, organising committee member, Eilish Lane-Nagle, said that violinists Vladimir and Anton, who were accompanied by Vincent Lynch on piano, had been very well received.
“It was a most entertaining evening from some wonderful musicians, the public turned out in force to support the event and for this, we are very grateful,” she said.
