The owner of the former Presentation Convent in Mitchelstown has submitted to Cork County Council what they propose to call the 32 units, if and when they are built.
Rockspring Properties made the submission shortly before Christmas, and recently the council gave their determination on the names for the development.
The developer intended to call numbers 1 to 26 ‘Convent Hill’ (‘Ard Clochar), while the next six buildings would be called ‘The Convent’ (‘An Chlochar’).
