For generations, the people of Grange have carved out an identity for themselves. Situated alongside one of the county’s largest towns, Grange – thanks to its excellent national school and variety of sports clubs – has managed to retain its independence.
In what locals are describing as ‘a breakthrough moment’, it can be formally announced that a decision has been taken to purchase a five acre site with a view to developing a community amenity that would facilitate a range of sporting pursuits – the site currently accommodates members of Grange GAA and Grange Ladies Football Club.
Formerly owned by the late Carey Joyce, this prime location is located on the Glanworth road, not far from Grange National School.
