Issues with school transport have arisen once again with the return to school this week for many, as parents and students were left waiting on bus tickets to be issued.

It is understood that the issue extends to families in Glenville, Rathcormac, Ballynoe and parts of Castlelyons and Conna.

According to local councillor, William O’Leary, between 65 and 80 families were in contact with him regarding the issue.

“There was just complete and utter chaos with the allocation of tickets. The seats are there, it was just left until the very last minute,” Cllr O’Leary said.
