As a result of CCTV footage from a surveillance camera that had been specially installed, a man was charged with the larceny of a quantity of timber from the Doneraile area at Kilmallock court on Tuesday.

There have been a number of successful investigations regarding larceny and other crimes such as the felling and removal of trees, illegal dumping etc., brought against a number of perpetrators over the past year or more, thanks to the use of surveillance cameras.
