Miracle baby for Glanworth cancer survivor

A Glanworth woman has confounded medical and scientific knowledge after she became pregnant despite being told she was infertile because of cancer treatment. 

Brave Nuala O’Brien, has beaten the odds twice, firstly surviving a bout of cancer in her early twenties. 

Following the aggressive treatment, including a transplant and chemotherapy, she went into early onset menopause and Ovarian failure at the age of 25. 

Nuala, who now lives in Australia, thought she would never have kids but then, leading up to a check up with an oncologist, felt bloated.

Her story is one of a miracle and it has dumbfounded medics.
