Pink ladies from Ballyhooly and Buttevant at the presentation of the cheque to Cork Arc Cancer Support House.

Ballyhooly ladies have raised the princely sum of €8,370 for Cork ARC Cancer Support House, following their fundraising efforts for running the Cork Mini Marathon last month. Nuala O’Reilly rallied a group together from Ballyhooly and Buttevant to compete in the race for this worthy cause.

At the presentation in McCarthy's, Buttevant; Hilary O’Sullivan, Head of Fundraising at Cork ARC, accepted the cheque, and thanked sincerely all who contributed so generously and highlighted the many services provided by Cork ARC.

The organisation is totally dependent on voluntary fundraising and it’s only because of the generous support they receive that they are able to continue to provide an invaluable service, free of charge, to anyone impacted by cancer.
