Val O’Gorman opened Mr Mister in Mitchelstown in 1999, with high hopes for the future.
He felt that the north Cork town would be a great place to start his business, offering an extensive and up to date collection of quality boys and men’s clothing.
Since then he has added two more stores to the Mr Mister franchise, one in Cashel and another in Cahir.
However, after 20 years in Mitchelstown Val says he’s now shutting the doors on his business.
“Due to the maturing of our lease, we will be closing our Mitchelstown store.
