Glenroe intermediate hurlers recovered from a poor opening half against Glanworth, in the Lee Cup tournament final played in Glenroe GAA grounds, on Sunday evening last, to retain the trophy.

Glenroe got off to a poor start in this game and found themselves 1-6 to no score down by the 17th minute.
Eoin Walsh had Glenroe’s opening score, a point from a 21m free in the 20th min. The latter stages of the first half proved to be more competitive, with Eoin O’Mahony and Bob Frewen (two points) scoring for Glenroe and Glanworth replying with four points.
