Angela Kearney who lives in Kilworth, was chosen as a winner of ‘Ireland’s Greatest Hair’.

Local lady, Angela Kearney, has been bestowed with the honour of having ‘Ireland’s Greatest Hair’ by Mane ‘n Tail Ireland.

Castlelyons native Angela, now living in Kilworth, was among four people chosen for the honour, having seen off nearly 4,000 other entrants.

A shortlist of 100 men and women was revealed and a number celebrity judges were brought in to help whittle that number down to 12, before the final winners were announced.

Celebrity stylist and judge in the competition, Leonard Daly said ‘the judges loved Angela’s passion for Mane ‘n Tail and her hair”, and Angela herself commented: “When your hair looks and feels good, so do you.”

Each of the winners won a spa break, and will feature on TV3’s Xposé in the coming days. The other judges in the competition were TV3 Midday host, Elaine Crowley, Caitlin McBride from Independent Style, Daragh Keany from the Sunday World, and Ireland AM’s resident photographer, Jenny McCarthy.
