Paul Hunt,  Managing Director, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Ireland DAC, said: “Coming hot on the heels of the recently launched Giulia saloon, the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio will be the marque’s first SUV”.

Built on the same Giorgio platform as the Giulia, which will also underpin a mass of future Alfas and Maserati’s; its mission is for an SUV to evoke the same emotions as a true performance car.

The Stelvio will be available in both petrol and diesel engines with both rear wheel drive and Q4 all-wheel drive systems. All engines will be matched to the impressive 8 speed ZF® automatic transmission.

Irish pricing and specification will be announced in Autumn 2017, with the first models arriving around October.
