A second year student at Presentation Secondary School, Mitchelstown has received confirmation that she will be appearing on the Late Late Toy Show at the end of the month.

Rachel Lynch, from Kildorrery, a talented musician and dancer, is a member of the Ryan School of Dance in Ardfinnan, Ballyduff Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann and dances with the Booley House.

Rachel sent an audition clip to the Late Late in September and was selected from thousands of entrants to audition in Cork. It was a considerable achievement as only 80 acts in the entire country were asked to audition.

Rachel who did her audition in the Metropole Hotel, met with Ryan Tubridy and received the good news two weeks later that she had been successful.

It’s a closely guarded secret as to what she’ll be performing on the night so readers will just have to tune in to the Late Late Toy Show on November 27 to find out.
