A new 87-bed International Hotel opened in Clondulane on Friday, September 23, much to the delight in the local community. The development was approved by An Bord Pleanála earlier this year.

A public consultation had been held among stakeholders and all interested parties, involving Clondulane Community Association, Clondulane NS and several local businesses and tradespeople.

Gathering at the village green on Friday, the ribbon was cut on the door to the new hotel, located at a 300-year-old beech tree, and Clondulane’s International Fairy Hotel was officially declared open for business.
