A young Rathcormac lad featured on RTE television recently when he was interviewed at his home by RTE reporter, Jennie O’Sullivan.
What is so special about five year-old Rian Somers is that while he might be a spina bifida sufferer and a wheelchair user, he has taken to beekeeping like bees to honey (if you’ll pardon the pun) – a passion he discovered just a few short months ago during the lockdown when Covid-19 kicked in.
Rian’s dad Fergal said it all started during the lockdown while he was working from home.
