The Glenroe branch of Drive to Survive was set up just a few short weeks ago on June 12 to support the Ballylanders branch, raising much needed funds for Milford Hospice Limerick.

A 5-mile sponsored cycle will be the first event organised by the new branch amd this wil take place on July 28 at 2.30pm, from Glenroe church to Ballylanders village. This is a family event and all ages are welcome, however U16’s must be accompanied by a parent on the day.

The cycle will be fully stewarded and the route will be signposted along the way. All cyclists are welcome to congregate afterwards for light refreshments in An Trasnan, which they have kindly sponsored. So come along and support this very worthy cause.

Registration takes place at 2pm on the day with an entry fee of €10 for adults and €5 for children. Sponsorship cards are available from committee members on 087-2125607 or 087-9733244 with ten lines at €5 per line.
