A car was seized by An Garda Siochána in the Fermoy area on Wednesday, February 13.
The Avondhu understands that the driver was caught speeding at 145km/h in a 120km/h zone with no NCT, no tax, no insurance and the driver had already been disqualified.
It was also discovered that the driver had outstanding arrest warrants issued by the courts.
He was brought before the courts on February 13 and remanded in custody for a week.
