Young Fermoy basketball player part of award-winning team

Joseph Ensko, a Fermoy native and one of Ireland’s promising up-and-coming basketball players, has recently been awarded a national medal as part of basketball club Coughlan C and S Neptune’s victory in the U18 National Cup. 

Last month, in the heady atmosphere of Tallaght’s National Basketball Arena, Neptune squared off in the U18 final against a teak-tough Belfast Star team.

They found themselves trailing by 11 at the break.
