Kilworth jockey, Adrian Heskin.

The much admired Kilworth jockey, Adrian Heskin teamed up once more with near neighbour and trainer Sean O'Brien to win at Fairyhouse on Tuesday. Adrian did much of his early riding out with the O'Brien's so it is not surprising that himself and Sean make a formidable duo.

7-year-old 'Wedding Present' had a more than comfortable 11-lengths to spare over Seskinane in the opening maiden hurdle over two miles on Tuesday.

Wedding Present is owned by Sean's wife, Caroline, giving the O'Brien family all the more to celebrate as the horse was given to Sean and Caroline as a wedding present by Sean's uncle Dick when they tied the knot four years ago.

The next outing for Wedding Present will most likely be in a 3-mile hurdle at Punchestown next week, but Sean stresses that the horse's future will be over fences.

"He was a great winner for us and has the makings of a nice staying chaser. We're having a great run of luck at the moment and we are very grateful for that",  Sean told The Avondhu on Wednesday.
